Questions
Is it safe?
It frees only what's cheap to get back, checks again right before each step, and logs every action. Files you pick go to the Trash, never straight to deletion.
Does it upload anything?
No. It runs entirely on your Mac. Its one network request checks ebbspace.com for updates.
Why is System Data so big?
macOS files everything it can't name there: backups, caches, simulators, snapshots, swap and updates. Ebb Space measures each part and shows the rest as a remainder.
Does it need Full Disk Access?
No. With it, Mail, Messages and app data count too. You can turn it off any time in Privacy & Security.
What does it cost?
Nothing while in beta.
